Primary Responsibilities:
This position is to work as a research assistant in SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions Wuxi plant in the Applied Chemistry Team. Position duties include performing standard testing and analysis of product development for formulation development, product quality trouble shooting and raw materials qualification(Sub/alt).
To assist R&D engineers and supply chain in performing lab formulation development testing, product trouble shooting, raw materials qualification testing, data collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and documentation;
To identify and implement improvements to the existing methods and procedures;
To operate and perform preventive maintenance to the equipment in the lab;
To observe all health and safety rules and implement all policies, practices and procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements:
BS degree in chemistry, organic chemistry or polymer chemistry
Minimum 2 years’ chemistry laboratory experiment experience is preferred.
Ability to perform tests according to procedure and to document results efficiently and accurately
Ability to use Microsoft Excel for data entry and manipulation and report results using basic statistics (average, standard deviation)
Ability to follow all safety rules and policies and promote a safe work place
Knowledge of water chemistry and cooling water treatment is preferred
English communication skills.
Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
